What Test Levels do Clevry Offer?

Information on the difficulty level availability of Clevry's ability tests

Essential

The tests were designed primarily for manufacturing environments and public utilities. The instruments are suited to organisations which have a strong Production/Engineering focus. Within this industrial sector, the instruments are relevant to a range of occupational groups:

  • Hourly Paid Operatives
  • Semi-Skilled Employees
  • Apprentices
  • Team Leaders
  • First Level Supervisors

Many of the candidates who take the CWS tests are people who left school after achieving some qualifications at GCSE level. However, the tests have been designed to be appropriate across a broad range of difficulty levels. This means that they are suitable for the assessment of a range of individuals; from those who have no educational qualifications to those who have achieved A-levels or post-school Diplomas/Certificates.

Enhanced

The Enhanced level has been developed for a range of applications. The instruments are relevant to a range of occupational groups. They may be applied to various roles in which business administration skills are needed. This may include but is not limited to:

  • Junior managers
  • Customer service staff
  • Call centre staff
  • Sales people
  • Administrators
  • Personal assistants
  • Secretarial assistants

The application of the entire battery is particularly suited to situations in which employees are required to perform a wide range of tasks such as attending to customer services and conducting various administrative duties. In such situations employees are required to demonstrate both conscientiousness and reasoning skills.

The Enhanced tests have been designed to be appropriate across a broad range of difficulty levels. This means that they are suitable for the assessment of a range of individuals from those who have little or no educational qualifications to those who have achieved A-levels or post-school Diplomas/Certificates. Candidates above this educational level (e.g. graduates) are likely to require tests which are different in nature, as well as difficulty, in order to reflect the responsibilities of the jobs for which they are being considered.

Expert

The Expert series consists of high level critical reasoning tests. They measure abilities which are particularly relevant to the performance of:

  • Graduates
  • Managers
  • Professionals
  • Specialists

The Expert series has been designed to be appropriate for the assessment of individuals of graduate calibre. Candidates assessed using the instruments have typically achieved at least A-levels or post-school Diplomas/Certificates. Expert is the highest level of assessment we offer.
